Mr. V.M.B. Shanmuganathan is a passionate entrepreneur and the grandson of the visionary Founder and Chairman of the Butterfly Group of Companies. His journey into the world of business began in 2007, when he joined the Butterfly Group (LLM Appliances) to manage the Sales and Marketing for Tamil Nadu and Kerala. From the outset, his sharp insight and unwavering commitment to excellence quickly distinguished him, leading to a series of well-deserved advancements. In 2010, he advanced to the role of Assistant General Manager (AGM) for South India, where he also took on the responsibility of managing procurement and overseeing operations at the company's factory in China.

By 2014, Mr. Shanmuganathan had progressed to the role of General Manager, and in 2015, he became Vice President - Sales, Marketing, and Procurement for Butterfly (LLM Appliances). His leadership was key to the company’s expansion, driving growth and establishing a strong presence across multiple regions.

In 2020, driven by his pursuit for quality craftsmanship and innovation, he founded DACE, a premium brand of kitchen essentials. In 2022, DACE partnered with the renowned culinary maestro Chef Venkatesh Bhat to establish VB DACE. VB DACE represents an exciting new chapter in the kitchenware industry, with Mr. Shanmuganathan, a major stakeholder in the company, playing a pivotal role in steering its future.
